Clarion, PA – The new 33,000-square-foot primary care facility will house medical, dental, behavioral health offices, multiple service agencies, a café, and a pharmacy.
PKH Properties, LP owners of the facility secured financing through a master lease agreement with Primary Health Network. Enhancing the economics of the project is the Keystone Opportunity Zone Benefits available to owners and tenants locating in the park. PKH has applied for KOZ benefits for 2014 and qualify to receive local and state tax waivers through 2023.
At full occupancy, the building is projected to create 50-70 new jobs; Primary Health Network (PHN) anticipates 26,000 patient encounters to take place this year. Exciting technological advances are set to arrive with the opening of Clarion Community Health Center. To improve quality of care, the Clarion office will be using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and was chosen to be the pilot site for new patient portals. With the use of an online portal, PHN patients will have the ability to access their health information, request refills, ask questions, and make payment all at the click of a mouse.
